RunGR is thrilled to have University of Michigan Health-West (UMHW) Sports Medicine as premier partner and sponsor since 2023.

One of UMHW Sports Medicine’s goals is to “keep you moving”, which is perfectly aligned with the mission of RunGR.

UMHW Sports Medicine’s focus is both around injury prevention and treatment.

  • They provide RunGR members with year-round education and screening opportunities.
  • When injuries do arise, UMHW Sports Medicine is the club’s designated medical partner to help diagnose and identify the most appropriate treatment path. UMHW Sports Medicine’s services are offered across 5 locations in the greater Grand Rapids area.

In addition, UMHW Sports Medicine provides financial support to RunGR’s racing team and offers their medical services for the club’s annual public event, Magic of the Mile.
